Fridayness

Really can’t be bothered with work today, good job I have some mindless tasks that need taking care of.

We’re off to see Tim Minchin at the Hammersmith Apollo tonight, can’t wait, then family coming to visit tomorrow, taking my Mum & Dad down to the Port on Sunday for their 25 day cruise to the Caribbean!!  Mum is mega excited about going to the Caribbean.

Got a dilemma for next weekend,  hubbie has friday and Monday off, we were planning on going up to visit family and friends in the Lake District, but making it a dirty weekend and stay in a hotel.  Yeah, that’s all very well but then when it works out the same price as 3 nights in Paris, and Paris is quicker to get to!  Hmmm.  Then we looked at the amount of money and decided that we could get the downstairs plastered in our house for less than either of them.

Dirty weekend in The Lake District (where I grew up),  dirty weekend in Paris (went 10+ years ago, OH was a miserable bugger because he didnt know a scrap of French (he knows much more now after working in Brussels on and off for a few years)) or a dirtier weekend at homedecorating and getting our shitheap of a house in order?  Decisions, decisions…
